What Use Are Portable Water Filters?
Many people recognize that our water is polluted with many nasty toxins like lead, chlorine, pesticides and herbicides, heavy metals and much more. So they understand the importance of drinking clean safe water, and using a water filter or purifier to achieve this. But what do portable water filters do?
There's some benefits that you get from using a portable water filter that you don't get from a regular water filter, though they too are very good.
Now if you can afford to have several water filters or a whole house system then great, but if you can only afford one then a portable water filter is the best choice. There's one major advantage of a portable filter. Easy installation.
A portable water filter is just that, portable. So they are easy to use. Depending on the particular filter you just attach the filter to the faucet and off you go, clean safe great tasting water.
And there's more benefits. There's some water purification systems that work through the use of chemicals. Now to me that's defeating the purpose, using chemicals to remove chemicals. But there are many options for buying a portable water filter that doesn't use any chemicals.
And of course it goes without saying that if you travel a lot a portable water purifier is a fantastic option, you have no idea what water you'll be drinking when you arrive somewhere.
You can take a portable water purifier with you when you go. Maybe it's just to a summer vacation, but take your water filter with you. Or even just move it from room to room in the house if you wish.
Portable filters provide many advantages that other filtration systems are unable to offer. Obviously, much like their name states, they are a great option for anyone who wants a water filter that does not need to stay in the same place at all times.
Keep in mind that there a number of different brands available, offering a variety of different features, and tend to vary widely in price. Its important to do some comparison shopping for portable filtered water products before making the decision to purchase one for your home drinking water!
Now of course if you can afford it you need a whole house water filtration system as well as a portable water filter, because then you've got the best cleanest water at home for drinking, washing and showering, and a portable to take away. But get a portable purifier anyway.
